Nancy Wolf has always enjoyed working with children. After discovering the book "Hope Rising" by Kim Meeder, she knew what her next calling would be and 2BU Youth Ranch was born. In April of 2011, the barn doors were opened with a mission to help youth grow into healthy adults as they find faith, healing, hope and trust with horses. We believe that each youth is unique and will come to the Ranch for his or her unique needs.
2BU Youth Ranch believes that all children are at risk in today's environment. Participating in the ranch experience as a whole, will provide motivation for change and build confidence in each youth. Participants will partner with their leader and assist in the care of the horse by cleaning stalls, water tanks, and completing various other chores. They will also spend time grooming and bonding with the horse. When assessed as ready, the youth and leader will begin tacking and riding a horse. Our program runs from April to November (weather permitting).
